The Steering Committee together with the Institut de Recherche Criminelle de la Gendarmerie Nationale (IRCGN) welcomes you to on-line Annual Meeting of ENFSI Working Group on Firearms and Gunshot Residue from Paris.
For safety reasons our last year meeting was cancelled completely and the personal meeting our Colleagues form IRCGN playing host in their new Institute is being postponed for the future. Let us hope, however, that the possibility to see each other in reality comes fast and will be possible already in the next year in Lisbon.
This is our 27th Annual Meeting embracing the Business Meeting and the Scientific Conference. Thanks to your hard work despite of the pandemic circumstance this year programme embraces equally interesting topics as in previous years.

The meeting will be held online from October 6th to October 8th. The detailled program, time schedule and connexion information will be provided as soon as definitely decided.
We want to inform you of important milestones:
July 15th: Authors who are willing to give a presentation during the meeting must have uploaded their abstract on the website. Abstracts will be reviewed and selected by the steering committe no later than August 23rd
September 1st: Release of the final program. All authors will be notified by email before.
September 30th: All registrations are closed
October 1st: Authors must have uploaded their presentation on the website. Files are to be provided both in your favorite presentation format and PDF
All deadlines are meant at 23:59, Paris time (GMT +1)

Registrations are open until September 30th, and free of charge.

Due to connection limitations, access to the webinar platform will be only possible for the first 300 registrations. Whenenever possible, and to spare some bandwidth, we kindly ask you to follow the meeting with your colleagues on one single session.

The scope of the conference
The scope of the cycle of annual meetings of ENFSI Firearms and Gunshot Residue Working Group is to maintain the activities towards:
exchanging information and expertise;
promoting quality assurance and developing professional standards leading to full accreditation following DIN ISO 17025 or DIN ISO 17020;
harmonising of methods, combining of research activities;
providing education and training within the particular area;
establishing international access to data collections;
producing best practice manuals for the areas of work of which the Group is responsible.
